Panama City Beach, Florida for many years been known for it’s beautiful white sands and emerald green waters. While building a new hotel in the 1960’s workers uncovered a cannon ball belonging to a spanish explorer ship that once traversed these beautiful waters. Panama City Beach has a very rich history. Prior to the 1800’s, this area was inhabited by Native Americans and Spanish explorers searching for the fabled Fountain of Youth.Pirates also used the inlets and St. Andrews Bay as a hiding spot while searching for treasure ships en route to Spain.
