Arbor Day in America originated in Nebraska as a day to celebrate and care for trees. When the holiday was created over a million trees were planted in Nebraska. Today Panama City Beach carries on that tradition. Conservation Park on the west end of Panama City Beach, will be holding the Arbor Day Celebration encouraging locals and visitors to come out and help keep our city beautiful. Conservation Park opened in 2011 and includes hiking trails, biking and bird watching. This event is just one of many that is important for all of us to preserve our planet.
