The Martin Theatre which is located on historic Harrison Ave, only a short distance from Panama City Beach, FL continues to draw crowds for packed out events such as retro film screenings, live concerts, and exciting events. This art deco style theatre was built in 1936 and since that time stars such as Bill Elliot, Clark Gable, William Boyd, Constance Bennett and even Theo Houdini the brother of famed illusionist Henry Houdini. Today the historic Martin Theatre opens it’s doors for cultural events, community functions and live theater, which seems to harken back to a different and simpler time. Coming up this Friday is a late night screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. For more information visit. www.martintheatre.com.
